Hello Emily,
thank you very much for your comment and also your insight to Goblin Valley.
Goblin Valley was in our itinerary, but we didn’t make there. We did some changes in our plans due to new friends we had met. But we will do it next time for sure 🙂

It’s a 15 minute drive north of Goblin Valley. The mountain itself is very beautiful, and there are many old cabins and abandoned mines from when uranium was mined here, so the area makes for some very interesting hiking. Marie Curie is said to have stayed in one of the old cabins. Even though it is close to Goblin Valley and it has a campground, hardly anyone visits, so it is very peaceful. I love Utah’s parks, so it is very nice looking at your photos. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in the US!
